Snake River Brewing rolls out Putt-Putt Trail Ale

to benefit Friends of Pathways

Jackson, Wyo. — Snake River Brewing is proud to announce Putt-Putt Trail Ale – a summer ale that supports your trails. Made in partnership with nonprofit Friends of Pathways, a portion of proceeds from Putt-Putt Trail Ale support FOP’s maintenance of Jackson Hole’s beloved 152-mile local trail system. Putt-Putt Trail Ale will be available on draft and in 6-packs all summer at Snake River Brewing and at select local and regional restaurants and retailers.

Named after one of Jackson Hole’s most popular trails, Putt-Putt Trail Ale is an easy-drinking summer ale loaded with Centennial and Strata hops, lending itself to notes of citrus, pine, and strawberry. The sweetness it leaves on your lips will keep you coming back for another sip.

“Many of our staff are mountain bikers, trail runners, and semi-pro dog walkers, so it only makes sense to develop a novel beer to support the Friends of Pathways crew and give folks a refreshing brew to share with friends at the trailhead,” Snake River Brewing Sales Director Elliott Wilkins said.

Putt-Putt Trail Ale was created by SRB brewer John McCarthy, an avid mountain biker who can ride right from his house to the Putt-Putt trailhead without getting in his car, and after, can ride right to work at the brewery. Friends of Pathways promotes sustainable transportation and healthy recreation in Jackson Hole – Putt-Putt Trail Ale and the people who created it encompass these values.

“Friends of Pathways is thrilled to partner with Snake River Brewing to create an ale that supports our trails,” Friends of Pathways Communications and Advocacy Director Sam Petri said. “We maintain 152 miles of frontcountry trails in Jackson Hole. These trails are located close to neighborhoods and provide access to some of the most cherished places in our valley. We are working to connect every neighborhood in Jackson Hole to a pathway or trail. Proceeds from this beer will help make that a reality.”
