Bike to Work Wednesdays

Rally your friends and co-workers and start biking to work!

Starting June 18th, every Wednesday, all summer long, we’ll have free coffee and breakfast treats for bike commuters from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Each Wednesday you can find us in a new, bikeable location where you can grab coffee and a breakfast snack on us!

Each Bike To Work Wednesday participant can enter to win a Specialized Status 2 170 Mountain Bike from Hoback Sports! Entry is free with your email, and each time you participate in Bike To Work Wednesday you will gain you an entry to the raffle. The more times you bike to work, the more chances you have to win!

Then join us for a wrap up party at Snake River Brewing in August!

We are about 2 weeks ahead of schedule on trail melting out this year. The old bet was everything would be snow free by July 4th but there are only a few passable snow drifts left on the upper parts of Teton Pass. The trail should be very inviting this weekend with cooler temps and a little rain this morning to knock the dust down. This week crews cleared upper Ski Lake, Phillip’s Pass, and upper Black Canyon, treated weeds at Munger, replaced some pathway counters, surveyed some new connector trails, dug drainage on Black Canyon, and string trimmed around the trailheads. Get out there and enjoy!

Good news! The pathway along North Highway 89 opens Saturday, April 19! This opening is earlier than the usual opening of April 30. Sweet!

In coordination with U.S. Fish and Wildlife, Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation is sweeping and cleaning the pathway north of Jackson adjacent to Highway 89 today to ensure the pathway is clear of debris before it opens for users on Saturday, April 19.

As wildlife continues to migrate from the National Elk Refuge, please take caution when using the pathway and give wildlife the right-of-way.

The Teton Park Road is plowed and ready for joggers, cyclists and even rollerbladers. People can enjoy 14 miles of snow-free pavement from Taggart Lake Trailhead to Signal Mountain Lodge, all without worrying about traffic until May 1.

@yellowstonenps enthusiasts have their chance to enjoy car-free roads too. Nearly 50 miles of road between the west entrance in West Yellowstone and the north entrance in Gardiner opened to non-motorized travel on April 5.
