We took the roller on Cache, Hagen, Sidewalk, and Hagen Highway this evening. We will snowshoe the trails around the trailhead this weekend!
Open
Groomer is back up and running and back on schedule! Today GTNP Taggart to South Jenny Lake, Bar B Bar, and Spring Creek Ranch. A foot of fresh means soft trail conditions. Enjoy!
Open
“I feel like [skiers and bikers] get along [on the trails] because everyone is helping to pack the trail,” Chris said. “The tire tread actually keeps [the snow] from icing over because it is constantly breaking it up and giving it a textured surface.”

We groomed Cache up to Noker, Hagen, Sidewalk, Hagen Highway, River, and the section of Sidewalk around the trailhead. There are some wind drifts and crust blocking sections of Sidewalk between bridge 1 and 2 but everything else should be in good shape. Thanks to Doug and Kevin for stoping and helping me get the sled unstuck and back on the trail! #jhtrails #jhnordic
Open
🚨 Heads up! 🚨Cache Creek may not be groomed Monday 2/15. Unfortunately the groomer broke down yesterday. Parts have been ordered and we’ll be back up and running ASAP. Sorry for any inconvenience. 📷: @bushongpropertyservices

Attention bike commuters! We've got ONE bike locker at the Stilson Lot available for rent on a monthly basis. This is the perfect park and ride setup and it’s available for $15/month in winter and $25/month in summer. Contact info@friendsofpathways.org to rent or for more info.

We groomed everything except Hagen Highway this weekend so the trails should be good until the next round of snow on Wednesday. Remember to bring leashes for your pets and use them in the trailheads, the first 200 feet of each trail, and on the Putt Putt trail from Nelson Dr. to the Wiggle junction. This helps to minimize dog poop, pets chasing wildlife, and negative interactions with other pets and trail users.
Open
DON’T POACH THE WILDLIFE CLOSURE!
During this low snow stretch of winter it is great that some trails like Putt Putt are compact enough for people to use. An important reminder for people recreating with dogs that - due to wildlife closures there is a leash zone along the Putt Putt trail from the Nelson trailhead to the Wiggle trail junction. This may mean you need to take an alternate route if you have a pet or borrow one of the free leashes placed around the trailheads. It is difficult to bike while having your pet on a leash, especially on narrow trails. We encourage fat bikers with dogs to use the Cache and Hagen trails and bring leashes for their pets while in the trailhead area (this includes 200 feet around all trailheads).
Open
Our crew groomed Cache, Hagen, Gauging Station, Sidewalk, and Hagen Highway last night. We’ll hit River and Ferrins in the next few days. Get out there and enjoy it!
