The Grand Teton National Park public comment period for Moose-Wilson Road scoping has ended. We appreciate all of your thoughtful comments — we helped the Park gather an additional 500+ comments, ideas and suggestions from all 50 states. Truly a national, state, local and regional perspective. Thank you!

All of the comments were delivered to the GTNP planning team members for inclusion in the official record.

So these were the trails that would have been dry if it hadn`t snowed last night. Things will hopefully melt off tomorrow but be wary of the transition from frozen mornings to sunshine as the trails will turn slick and you will take a lot of mud home with you. Your best bet is to go for an adventure south of town on the A&W, S 89 Singletrack, and Game Creek trails. After that the first parts of Putt Putt and Sidewalk are mostly dry with some snow drifts. You can also push through those and hike up Crystal Butte and Crystal Lite or take a short sunny walk on the Nelson Knoll trail. If you are out and about and see any down trees or other trail issues use our Trail Maintenance Request button on our website to report it and we will get out to it right away. Have a great weekend!

Great news: @tetoncounty and the @townofjacksonwy were recently awarded $600,000 from the Federal Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) program to develop a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan. This plan will prioritize projects and policies to improve safety and mobility for all users of the region’s transportation system. The aim: To prevent roadway deaths and serious injuries. This plan will guide the future development of the pathway and active transportation networks across our community.

Modernizing Mobility for West Jackson is a @tetoncounty and @townofjacksonwy project that aims to create a forward-thinking plan that addresses bicycle and pedestrian improvements; upgrades to roads, sidewalks, and intersections; and outlines conceptual layouts for future connectivity in the study area of South Park Loop Road, High School Road, Middle School Road, and Northern South Park.
