By our count, one million people have walked, run, or biked through Russ Garaman Park since 2016. That’s one million trips to school, soccer practice, the grocery store, a trailhead, or to a friend’s house not taken in a car.

We think that’s worth celebrating!

Join Friends of Pathways this Friday, September 24, 2021, from 4-6 p.m. in Russ Garaman Park for light food, drinks, and music as we say Thanks a Million for putting our pathways to good use.

We will have picnic blankets set out by Flat Creek, locally-made tamales, drinks, reusable cups, and live music by Bo Elledge of The Canyon Kids. So cruise through everyone’s favorite park on what should be a blissful September afternoon, stop and say hi, and celebrate our pathway system.
