Teton FreeRiders Pass The Torch To Friends of Pathways
FOP to maintain and elevate what Teton FreeRiders created.
Wilson, Wyo. – After 20 years of working obsessively to create a world-class network of gravity flow trails on Teton Pass, the board of the Teton FreeRiders has passed the torch for trail management and upkeep to Friends of Pathways.
In addition to managing over 135 miles of close-to-home dirt trails on the Bridger-Teton National Forest, Friends of Pathways is now responsible for maintaining and progressing the Teton Pass downhill trails. This includes Parallel Trail, Jimmy’s Mom, Lithium, Candyland, and Powerline Jumps.
These trails will remain world-class. In fact, a TFR founding member, board member, and dig director, Harlan Hottenstein, has joined the FOP trail crew and will be working on and improving trails this spring and beyond.
TetonFreeriders’ community advocacy and sweat equity built the downhill freeride trails on Teton Pass — a first-of-its-kind recreational asset for Teton County. These trails have created a dedicated community of shredders from all over the country – from young kids with their parents, to rowdy teens, to mountain bike pros and retirement rippers.
FOP is very excited to deliver the same quality product that TFR created and elevate the downhill trail experience with the guidance of Harlan Hottenstein.
Stay tuned for trail updates and Pass Bashes, and thanks for your continued support for the downhill system through Friends of Pathways!
