Volunteer

One of the best ways you can contribute to Friends of Pathways is to volunteer your time to help us promote non-motorized transportation and recreation in Jackson Hole.  FoP’s staff is small! We therefore have many different kinds of volunteer opportunities throughout the year and can use a helping hand in all aspects of our work.

If you would like to volunteer for Friends of Pathways, please contact Stephanie Thomas at stephanie@friendsofpathways.org or at (307) 733-4534.  You may also simply send an email to Amanda, requesting to be placed on the Volunteer List.  She will contact the entire list when volunteer opportunities arise and you may choose whether you can or cannot help with the offered activity.

Trail Work:

National Trails Day: National Trails day is on the first Saturday in June each year. Please check back for a detailed description of organized trail projects on the Teton Pass and Greater Snow King Area trails. 

Friends of Pathways will be organizing weekly “digs” with the US Forest Service throughout the summer.  Please check back for the volunteer trail work schedule as the trails begin to dry out.  

Events

Friends of Pathways has many events throughout the summer for which we need volunteer’s help.  Please visit our events page to see full descriptions of each individual event.  We need volunteers for the following:

National Trails Day Bike to Work Day & Week Kid's Bike Rodeo 4th of July 4k Run Valet Bike Parking at Music in the Hole, July 4th Gabriella Axlerad Celebration Ride in Grand Teton National Park Friends of Pathways Wine Cellar Raffle

Office Work

If you’re interested in helping out indoors, Friends of Pathways can always use your assistance in the office.  We have numerous mailings and office projects that go much faster with many hands on deck.  Please let us know if you would like to come in and we can set you up with an enjoyable project.

 We’re open to your ideas as well!  Please let us know if there is a project you would like to help with that we haven’t thought of yet.
