Trail and Pathway Amenities Program

            With 28 miles of pathways in Jackson Hole, there are numerous opportunities for you to sponsor individual pathway and trail amenities, like benches, trees and signposts.   Please contact us if you are interested in sponsoring an amenity and we will discuss with you your sponsorship options.  Or, you can simply make a donation to Friends of Pathways and request that it be put towards the Pathway and Trail Amenities Program.  FoP will use your gift to place an amenity where it is needed most.

Gifts of Appreciated Securities-Stocks, Bonds and Mutual Funds

            A gift of stock to Friends of Pathways enables you to support an organization you believe in while avoiding expensive capital gains taxes on the appreciation and receiving a tax donation for the full value of the gift.  Please notify your broker to arrange a donation of stock to Friends of Pathways.  We will provide him/her with the proper account information to make this type of gift. 

            Please let us know if you are choosing to donate to Friends of Pathways in this manner, as your transfer will not come to us with your name.  We want to be able to thank you for your support!

Gift from your IRA 
            Good only in the year’s 2006 and 2007, individuals 70 or older are allowed to make a tax-free contribution of up to $100,000 to non-profit organizations.   Please contact your financial advisor to discuss whether this is a good option for you and your family.
